Citations are back and with even more bark than before. Their new single ‘Parks’ is an anthemic track that is draped in nostalgia. It carries a similar sound to the glory days of rock music in the early 2000’s and late 90’s. The grungy single boasts the bands ability to create a track that is retrospective yet also incredibly fresh. Citations are an incredibly exciting band that consistently sound better with every release, ‘Parks’ is a perfect example of this.
Speaking about the track the band said: “Parks is a nostalgia trip taking you back to simpler teenage years when routine trips out with friends were taken for granted. Its an anthem of adulthood acceptance, change, love and sacrifice. A realisation of the ‘simple things’ and their value.”
We are incredibly proud to be premiering this fantastic Cornish band’s latest single exclusively. ‘Parks’ will be available via Spotify on Sunday 27th October.
