CLUNK Magazine 003
The CLUNK Zine returns with its third edition after selling out the previous zine. We’ve thrown everything we’ve got at this zine and even had some delicious new merch made up with our BRAND new logo. Introducing Vinny the vinyl man, the shiny disc of plastic that we now call a friend.
Again, as always we’ve taken on your feedback and made some changes to the zine, so we’re investing in a proofreader so there should be fewer mistakes (hurray!) In addition to this, we’ve changed how we operate behind the scenes a little so the process is a little more streamlined. We may be biased, but this is our best zine yet and it’s filled to the brim of juicy content for you to feast your eyes on!
Our cover star is the fast-rising Manchester singer-songwriter Pip Millett, who we have an exclusive interview with, she talks us through her songwriting process, festival essentials, and MUCH more.
We’ve got opinion pieces such as ‘No Mick Jagger, These Are The Bands That Are Keeping Rock N Roll Alive’, where we highlight bands that are much better than Machine Gun Kelly. Not to mention an in-depth piece that talks about how online communities have made discovering music easier than ever.
As always we have our Cornish Spotlight feature, which highlights five bands from Cornwall which are making serious waves, including artists such as Sweet Juno, Maisy Grace, MOPES, and Max Rad. Also returning is our Photographer Highlight which features the London-based photographer Luis Kramer, who is arguably one of London’s most prolific music photographers.
Illustration from Red Moon Design is of course a standard.
