Pynch have only been around for a short time but they’ve fast become a prominent name. 2019 saw the band release their debut single ‘Disco Lights’ on the legendary Speedy Wunderground label. They also supported Pete Doherty at Brixton Academy and will be joining The Libertines on tour.

During the lockdown frontman Spencer took the time to write the reflective single ‘Somebody Else’ after losing his job to Covid-19. It’s a swaying track that has their signature lo-fi indie sound, similar to the likes of Beach Fossils and LCD Soundsystem.

The track is pushed forward by a drum machine that is complimented by a running bassline. Soft, melancholic guitar dances eloquently in the background whilst high pitched synths reverberate in the background. It’s an infectious track that is daringly nonchalant.
