Viral sensation Inji releases the visuals for her viral song ‘The One’

With 1.5M audio streams within 10 days of release, Inji’s single ‘The One’ has built a huge presence across music platforms as the “single-girl anthem” of 2023. Now, she shares with us her music video, a high-energy pop of 90s style clothes, energised moves and women rewriting the rulebooks.

‘The One’ pays homage to the both rocky and relatable love life of a young woman navigating her way through hook-up culture and endless DMs offering one-night stands in the hopes of eventually finding true love.

“Even though it’s actually an annoying experience, the song reframes it as a moment of super high self-confidence,” Inji says. And she is absolutely right. With lyrics like “I think you got the wrong impression – I got the whole collection,” it’s impossible not to listen in unapologetic solidarity.

With a huge fanbase on TikTok, Inji first entered the spotlight with her independently released smash hit ‘Gaslight’. This tongue-in-cheek overnight success made its way across all of our “FYPS” at lightning speed, even ending up as the sound behind the TikTok x Samsung campaign with Nile Rogers himself.

‘The One’ isn’t the first we have heard of Inji; it certainly isn’t the last.
