Modern Guilt kick 2022 off with their raucous new single ‘ Joy Control’
Purveyors of rock n roll goodness Modern Guilt return to our ears in 2022 with their striking new single ‘Joy Control’. It’s the bands first release since their critically received debut ‘You’re Welcome’ EP, which featured singles ‘Get Along’ and ‘Hoping For Hoping’.
Their latest single ‘Joy Control’ continues their raucous sound that is remiscent of artists like The Strokes and Razorlight. The track kicks off with a slow building guitar and a simple crash of the snare, allowing for the delightfully cool vocals to breeze through. As the single continues we’re treated to a wave of synths and groove-ridden bass, accompanied by a flurry of clean sounding guitars. As always with Modern Guilt, it’s a true earworm of a release. Never doubt this bands ability to craft music that sticks to your ear canals like glue.
Modern Guilt have continued to build on their gritty guitar driven sound and have started 2022 with a massive sounding single. If the band continue with this calibre of release, they’re no doubt destined for mainstage success. As we said before, keep an eye on Modern Guilt, they have a bright future.
