Indie-Rock Band The Rills Have Shared Their New Single ‘Do It Differently’, The Title Track From Their Upcoming EP Due To Be Released May 6th

‘Do It Differently’ is pure fun: the bouncy track is highly danceable with a chorus that’s sure to be an earworm. The lighthearted single is scattered with tongue in cheek lyrics such as “my humour may be dark but my sunglasses are darker”. ‘Do It Differently’ is a sunshine filled single that’s perfect for fighting off the January blues. The track has big anthemic potential and will surely be a crowd favourite at festivals this summer.

“Do It Differently is about embodying the spirit of creativity” explain the band. “It’s acknowledging your uniqueness and using it to push against a world that tries to pigeonhole you. The song is inspired by the TikTok generation & how they’ve used a new format to build huge communities in rapid time – taking control of your own destiny is a very punk mentality to us.”

The trio from Lincoln signed to Nice Swan Records in Autumn last year; their single ‘Skint Eastwood’ gained praise from other publications as well as radio hosts such as Steve Lamacq and Jack Saunders. Following their December headline tour, The Rills are set to return to the road at the end of the month as part of Independent Venue week.
