Brighton punks The Stealers drop another banger ahead of their debut EP, BBC Introducing Live Lounge and UK tour
The Stealers are heading out of Brighton. After taking the city by storm, the band are heading out to the rest of the south coast on a mini tour this April.
This tour is to celebrate the announcement of their debut EP ‘Some Kind Of Way’ and this new single, ‘Last Train’ is a teaser of this. The track is an energetic and fun punk track whose lo-fi production is lifted by heavy performances. The opening riff soon opens up into a more emotional verse and chorus. The guitars are heavy and the drums power through while the vocals match their energy perfectly.
The highlight of the track is the final section. The bridge builds beautifully with plucked guitars and a foreboding drum beat before the track explodes into a Muse-esque climax. The riffs go hard and the guitar tone is completely over the top in the best way.
With the band soon performing a BBC Introducing Live Lounge set as well as their tour and EP release, they are definitely one to watch. I can only imagine this raw energy translates really well to a live setting.
