Although psychedlia has moved past it’s golden era there is still an extensive list of artists creating new and interesting sounds within the genre. Ryan Melone is one of those artists and his latest exploration into the psychedelic cosmos is a fresh take on an intensely mapped genre.
His latest release ‘Diamonds’ is a wonderful throwback to the sixties and seventies, yet remains new and interesting. It’s a self indulgent number that sees a flurry of guitars, ethereal vocals and rhythmic percussion. Together this neat bundle of retrospective psychedlia creates an atmosphere of carefree bliss, it’s hard not to be lost in this jam.
