Sam Wright‘s music is a wonderful combination of mellow sounds. It’s music for those hazy beach days.
There is a certain warmth that is felt throughout his music and this is ever present in ‘Sand’.
Ethereal vocals matched with jangly guitars create a dreamlike atmosphere, similar to artists such as Allah-Las. The highlight of the track comes from the vibey middle section. Bongos and spaced out guitar take over creating a trance like feeling. It washes over the listener like a clean wave or a fresh breeze on a summer’s day. You can’t help but be lured in by the nonchalant sounds, it’s incredibly inviting.
