Today marks the release of the newest single from SLONK, a solo project of Joe Sherrin, titled ‘Postman’. The newest single from Sherrin is dubbed as a lo-fi orchestral gem, featuring down-tuned acoustic guitars and fluttering synths. This is the debut single release from the upcoming album, ‘Where Do You See Yourself In Five Years’, which has recorded over the last few months.
Speaking on the recent release, Joe states: “A few years ago a friend of mine asked what I saw myself doing in 5 years. I had no response for her and thought it was funny that the first and only thing resembling a career aspiration which came to mind was how I unsuccessfully tried to become a postman a few times when I was a teenager”.
