THE FOUR-PIECE BAND ARE EXCITED TO RELEASE SMALL TALK ALONGSIDE THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF A UK AND IRISH TOUR

The Dublin-based band has been playing together since they were young teenagers, evolving their sound over many years. Before Soda Blonde, the four of them played together in their internationally renowned band Little Green Cars. Now, releasing their first album as Soda Blonde, ‘Small Talk’ underlines life in their 20s.

The album is set to come out on July 9th, but you will be able to listen to the title track ‘Small Talk’ before then as the band prepares to release it on March 24th.

Faye O’Rourke of Soda Blonde discusses the albums meaning “With feminism on one shoulder and trans-generational Catholic guilt on the other, it’s hard to find your way as an Irish woman.” She then continues to say “The truth is, I’ve found that process of deprogramming myself extremely hard, and now I lie somewhere between the past and future.”

Overall ‘Small Talk’ explores both darkness and the meaning of it through an alt-pop rendition that in turn has created an incredible album.

You can pre-order ‘Small Talk’ here.
