Sports Team; the band that battled Lady Gaga for top spot on the charts after the release of their debut album ‘Deep Down Happy’, they’re up for a Mercury Prize for Album of The Year and “geniuses” as described by Virgin Radio’s Chris Evans.
During lockdown the band did a live set at Oval Cricket Ground for Sunday Brunch including hits from their debut album ‘Camel Crew’ and ‘Stations of The Cross’, which is now available to stream on YouTube. The South London based six piece have also announced their biggest and best tour yet commencing in spring next year ending in a crescendo at O2 Academy Brixton with promise of an even bigger after party.
