Swell Spells was formed in Bakersfield, CA in 2017 by Patrick Sena, Logan Archer, and Jarrett Alarcon. The band formed out of a love for similar music tastes and apathy for their hometown of Bakersfield, CA, a conservative oil town.
The bleakness of their home location and a want to leave drove them to form Swell Spell, which has recently shared their debut single ‘Demons’.
The single boasts the bands fast paced, anarchic lo-fi punk sounds, a barrage of riffs and hooks that is delightfully infectious.
