The Comms formed in the summer of 2019, bonding over a love for bands such as IDLES, Fontaines D.C and The Murder Capital. The band didn’t take long before they hit the road themselves and toured mere months after forming. Highlights being their debut gig at King Of Hearts Festival and their headline gig at The Garibaldi Hotel in Northampton. Not to mention supporting slots with bands such as Avalanche Party, Little Triggers and Sweet Crisis.
Recently the band dropped their latest single ‘Pulled Apart’, which has their influences on full show. The moment the guitar enters you can hear that Bowan-esque stir gyrating between the percussion and vocals. It’s a frantic, garage rock sound that boasts the bands massive potential.
Speaking on the track Liam Taylor (vox & Lead Guitarist) said: “Toxic relationships are something a person never intends to get themselves into out of choice. ‘Pulled Apart’ was
written in the eyes of a third person witnessing a friend having to deal with an unhealthy relationship with their partner. What seems visible to the outsider is never as clear cut to the person involved.”
