Britain’s most notorious party starters, The Heavy, are back with a new single ‘Heavy for You’ after 3 years. This marks the celebration of their upcoming fifth studio album ‘Sons’. The song boasts about being able to absorb all the hate and critique that is thrown at you, and “to never be affected by the misunderstandings of ignorance” as lead singer Kelvin Swaby commented when talking about the new song.
‘Heavy for You’ starts off as loud and aggressive as ever, the sound we all thrive on when the listening to The Heavy. With a massive brass section and not one, but two guitar solos you can really feel they had fun recording this one. It feels like one big jam session, and we love it!
The blues rock band have announced a run of intimate dates including two shows at London’s Bush Hall on the 21st May, and Bristol’s Trinity on 28th May.
