Desert Rockers The Howlers Return With Blinding New Single & Share News Of Much Anticipated Debut EP ‘The Sum Of Our Fears’

Following the release of their swaggering single, ‘I Don’t Love You All The Time’, London’s The Howlers have returned with their infectious new single ‘Lost Without You’ and announced their debut EP, arriving August 26th. There is also a limited edition 12″ of the EP available via Blood Records.

The EP was produced by Theo Verney (Lazurus Kane, FEET) and Tarek Musa (Circa Waves) at Echo Zoo Studios, and was mastered at the iconic Third Man Records.

The latest single ‘Lost Without You’ is a breezy, West Coast inspired psych-rock track that is drenched in reverb guitars and Adam Young’s crooning vocals. This fun, bouncy number is a joyful experience that is layered in warmth. It’s safe to say that ‘Lost Without You’ is a certified summer jam (if only the weather would arrive).

Speaking about the track, Adam Young says “‘Lost Without You’ represents understanding what you really want out of life, and realizing what you may want might not be all it’s cracked up to be. Just because something is right for one person does not mean it’s necessarily right for you and that no matter how many times you may get knocked down you get back up, that you shouldn’t be scared to fail and find the strength to face up to your fears and carve your own path through life.”

He adds “All of us have been picked on at some stage for whatever reason, we as a band know that better than most, the petty playground rubbish you should only have to put up with as kids, but in all that hate is where you find the confidence to form your own identity and believe in yourself.”

The Howlers continue to make rock music that is fun and made to be enjoyed, no politics, no deep-rooted complexity, just good old rock n roll. The EP is no doubt going to be an excellent collection of jams that tickle the ear with tasty guitar licks, thumping percussion, and their ever-present charm. Hopefully providing relief to the listener after what has been a hard year for us all, to say the least.
