The Mysterines are to begin their first-ever headline UK tour starting late February, exciting times for the Liverpool based indie rock band. The three-piece are beginning to make waves, having to upgrade their ticket sales due to demand, surely giving them a real confidence boost as they ready to set off.
‘Love’s Not Enough’ brings heavy basslines impossible not to soak up and riffs to tell your friends about, if that isn’t enough, frontwoman Lia Metcalfe’s vocals are way beyond her years and is an impressive sound alone. The song portrays how feelings of love have a negative side and how it can take a toll, the poet has been blinded by it in the past. Mistakably misjudging and ignoring what’s happening in reality and holding onto something that is sadly, is not worth it anymore.
