The Birmingham trailblazers head to the Welsh capital in September, for a performance as part of the Bay Series

On September 7th, the legendary The Streets will be taking to Cardiff bay, headlining their own iteration of the Bay Series, a run of huge outdoor events in the Welsh capital. The Bay Series is Wales’ largest open-air concert series, delivering a plethora of entertainment and culture to Cardiff, bolstered by some incredibly impressive line-ups. This year’s edition of the series also features headline shows from The Chemical Brothers and NDUBZ, with plenty more to be announced.

Since seminal debut album, 2002’s â€˜Original Pirate Material’, Mike Skinner’s collective has solidified their place as a staple and trailblazer of alt hip-hop, UK garage, grime and electronica. Their catalogue transcends genre and has undeniable influence, like hit single â€˜Fit But You Know It’ still having an impact nearly two decades later.

The Streets will be supported by very special guests Kojey Radical, Zed Bias and Emmeline, with more to be added to the line-up soon.

Tickets are on sale at 10am on Friday 10th February, via Live Nation.
