Music today often finds itself overlapping or sounding similar, something I don’t particularly mind. Good music is good music and if you enjoy the sounds created so what? We are very fortunate to live in a world where we can have a plethora of artists who dabble in a certain genre on the edge of our fingertips, we are literally spoilt for choice.

Social media tools have also allowed us to be able to connect with underground music scenes across the world. Today I am fortunate enough to talk to you about The Vices, a love baby of The Growlers and The Strokes from the Netherlands.

Recently the young band released the swaying single ‘So It Goes’, a track that is ever so tantalizing. The jangly guitar plays into the crooning vocals of Floris Van L, creating a dazzling soundscape. The Vices manage to blend the best elements of surf rock and indie, making them an exciting new band.

It is with no doubt that The Vices are going to be one of the most talked about bands this festival season. Keep your eyes peeled on these guys.
