The new release comprises of recordings from over 40 hard drives of live shows from multiple albums and years of recordings, documenting the true evolution of the band.
The album is amalgamated to reflect a 70-minute live show and includes songs such as ‘Buenos Aires Beach’, ‘Wagonwheel Blues’ and a cover of ‘Accidentally like a Martyr’ by Warren Zevon. Talking on the release, lead singer Adam Granduciel says, “It feels like it’s kind of a reset, to be able to put something out that’s a really good interpretation of the way we interpret our music live.”
During the lockdown period the band have been keeping busy by working in the studio on the new album and recording exclusive performances for non-profit groups including Vote Ready, looking to increase voter registration in the US.
