The Brighton rockers Tigercub set a precedent with some of their best work to date

Brighton trio Tigercub have announced details of their third studio record, ‘The Perfume of Decay’ – plus a new single, and mammoth tour schedule across the UK and US.

‘Play My Favourite Song’ is the second single from the upcoming LP, a fuzzy cut with heavy basslines and a some seriously infectious vocals. The choruses here are massive, with Tigercub playing into a more arena-like quality with their songwriting. The riffs across this new single are nasally, grating, with an old school edge moulded into a modern rock sound. Feeling like a blend of Royal Blood and The White Stripes, the controlled chaos throughout this track is a serious step forward for the band, them clearly being ready to take on bigger rooms – and this track is their calling card.

Tigercub are once again reminding everyone they are a serious force to be reckoned with in the rock scene, and these new tastes of the new record are clean cut evidence of that.

‘The Perfume of Decay’ is out on June 2nd via Loosegroove Records.
