Tugboat Captain have released the single ‘Everything About You’ from their debut studio album ‘Rut’ (out October 16th via Double A Side). After already teasing the new release with ‘No Plans (For This Year) and ‘Day to Day’, the final single cements the debut with Tugboat Captain’s trademark chaotic live sound.
The single hones in on frontman Alexander Sokolow’s experiences of trying not to be a downer at a party, providing, yet again, a mundane and all-too-relatable narrative synchronous with Tugboat Captain lyrics.
The accompanying music video to the single captures the energy and unique stage presence of the band, providing nostalgia of rowdy, pre-pandemic, live show.
