This May, The Howl & The Hum will be making an appearance at the York Minster in collaboration with independent promoters Please Please You, York grassroots venue The Crescent, the acclaimed Leeds based venue and promoters The Brudenell and The Chapter of York.
The show that will be available to livestream is planned to take place on the 25th May with the chance of there being capacity for a limited socially distanced audience. This is dependent on the current COVID-19 restrictions which will be decided nearer the time. You can join the bands mailing list to be updated on getting a seat at the gig.
The Howl & The Hum released their first track “Godmanchester Chinese Bridge” which quickly brought the band success after being playlisted on Spotify. Since then, the four-piece, York based band have released their debut album “Human Contact” which came out in 2020.
Influenced by artists from Phoebe Bridgers to Kendrick Lamar, The Howl & The Hum’s sound takes on a variety of different styles in order to challenge what guitar music is.
You can also look forward to their rescheduled album tour which will now take place in September this year. You can grab your tickets via The Howl & The Hum’s website, click here: https://www.thehowlandthehum.com/
