Musicians find influence from a variety of places and emotions but in the case of Waker Glass‘s new track ‘Rose Garden’ it tells the story of being stood up by a redhead.
The track opens with a pulsing bassline that quickly transforms into a flurry of guitars, creating a stunning indie-pop soundscape. It carries a similar tone to bands such as Franz Ferdinand, although not as infectious. It’s a great example of mellowed out indie and boasts the Southern Californian bands potential.
