Zanibar Aliens are a fuzzed out psychedelic rock band based in portugal but is comprised of members from Sweden and Portugal. It is clear they draw influence from bands of old such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Creedence Clearwater Revival but have added a touch of added fuzz.

Their latest single ‘Hometown’ is no exception as it is driven forward by a barrage of fuzzed out ryths, backed by the powerful vocals of Carl Karlsson. It shifts sounds throughout but always remains groovey at its core, similar to chameleon that is Frank Zappa. The track carries the theme of the gnar shredders that roll wood throughout their local town who are “breaking bones and breaking wood”.
