Australian singer Angie McMahon has announced two solo headline shows across the UK and Ireland in summer 2024

Following the release of her second album, Light, Dark, Light Again, Angie will take the stage at Lafeyette in London on 24 June 2024 and The Workman’s Club in Dublin on 26 June 2024. Tickets are on sale now.

Angie’s album Light, Dark, Light Again‘ was released via AWAL Recordings and nominated for this year’s Triple J Australian Album of the Year.

The record is about “going to the darkest places inside yourself, facing your fears, and learning they can serve as a portal to something bigger, brighter and better”, the artist said.

McMahon added that when she felt like her life had been falling apart, she slowed down with intention and started turning to nature – the murmurations of birds, the swaying of trees, movements in the sea – and realised there is “much to be learned from the cycles of mother nature”.

The quiet but transformative revelations she had in this time have been poured into Light, Dark, Light Again, on which Angie examines her relationship with self, and the journey to becoming okay with whoever she is, and whatever the future holds.
