Annabelle Chairlegs returns with ‘Ice Cream On The Beach‘, a sun-lit indie pop single from her Ty Segall–produced upcoming album, blending surf-tinged melodies with subtle edge
Austin-based singer songwriter Lindsey Mackin, under her moniker Annabelle Chairlegs, is back with her first new music in over two years, in the form of the sun-kissed indie delight that is ‘Ice Cream On The Beach’.
Short yet undeniably sweet, ‘Ice Cream On The Beach’ may have missed the boat on the sunny weather it’ll make you think about, but it makes for the perfect summer after summer soundtrack. An infectious synth-fest full of pretty sounds, a steadfast rhythm section and enchanting vocal-work.
New Jersey born yet musically bred in the Texan heat, Mackin’s alter ego is already a stellar name in the Austin scene and it looks as if that reputation will only grow with consistently stunning tracks on par with this one. Her first release on new label, TODO, Annabelle Chairlegs may well be a household name soon enough.
