Flat Party’s latest track ‘C4mGrrl’ is an otherworldly blast written by the band’s singer Jack Lawther

Brace yourself for a futuristic blast as Flat Party’s latest single, ‘C4mGrrl’ slaps you with some otherworldly-sounding riffs that you won’t hear elsewhere this year.

The verses bring subtle riffs being strummed in the background via the guitars alongside a synthetic rhythm which joins the vocal. This contrast is what makes the flow so different sounding, with two fairly far apart sounds going on, but managing to join up effectively to build the atmosphere which becomes the song’s greatest feature by the end.

The chorus manages to step up from the verse and give you something to look forward to, bringing in a danceable beat and a catchy riff too, with the guitar switching to a much more pop-sound than it did in the verses.

Following chorus two comes a very unique bridge, with the voice of collaborator ‘Djank’s Taylor Pollock’ coming in and singing you through to the final chorus. This section really stands out amongst all the other sections which already bring something different to the table from other music within the genre. The second vocal sticks around in the final chorus, where it adds even more weight being paired with singer Jack Lawther and carries out the song in an awesome manner.
