Iceland Airwaves Announces First Wave Of Acts For 2025 Edition

Iceland Airwaves drops the first wave of acts which includes UK talent such as Deadletter and Antony Szmierik

Iceland Airwaves has dropped its first 35 acts to be joining them at the music festival and conference held annually in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik from 6th-8th November. Ticket and travel packages have also been released, and are available now in partnership with Icelandair.

In the first 35 artists announced is some of the UK’s most exciting artists such as Deadletter, Antony Szmierik, Fat Dog. As well as talent from across the globe such as New Zealand’s ratbag and Serbian-Canadian singer-songwriter Jelena Ciric.

Based in the heart of Downtown Reykjavík, Iceland Airwaves offers festival goers the unique opportunity to combine a weekend of world class music discovery with some of the world’s most breathtaking tourism experiences. Visitors can spend their days visiting hotspots like the Sky Lagoon or Lava Caves and discovering the city’s evolving food scene before returning to the festival for a night of electric showcases and parties; offering awe-inspiring discovery at every corner.

The festival also promises to offer the opportunity to sample the very best of Iceland’s music scene – from legends to grassroots local heroes – this year’s lineup welcomes an expansive taste of what Iceland has to offer. This year, the festival will welcome back the critically acclaimed musician and actress Elín Hall and the trip-hop infused musings of Sunna Margrét. Iceland Airwaves will also host the high-energy pop and electronic duo Milkywhale, the revered composer, keyboardist and producer, Magnús Jóhann, and a riotous set from the long-standing experimental noise-punk outfit, Tófa, amongst many more.
