Australian indie-surf band Skegss share new single ‘So Excited,’ ahead of their upcoming UK tour
‘So Excited’ is the latest single from Australian indie-surf band, Skegss, an upbeat track that details finding common ground in a relationship
On the new single, vocalist Ben Reed shares that, “this song came together real quick in the studio, it took us a couple of days to feel the structure out, but the whole thing felt like a nice impulse that we rode. Instead of making things complicated, let’s all agree to disagree more and enjoy the same things we all like as people”.
The track’s chorus blends indie-rock with elements of surf-punk, something Skegss are well versed in. Towards the end of the track a bass solo is highlighted, along with group vocals on the final chorus, which culminates into a catchy earworm.
