“Some dudes play golf, we play in a band”. Australian punk legends, Violent Soho, have announced their return headline tour after a four-year hiatus.

Well, Mark Hoppus called it! Legendary Australian rock band Violent Soho have announced their official return to the live stage after a four-year hiatus, with an exclusive run of three headline shows across the Australian east coast this September.

On the return, the band said: “Some dudes play golf, we play in a band. For us, that band is Violent Soho and we missed making noise together. After 20 plus years though we’ve learned not to force it. There’s a lot of history, music, and tours behind us and we can’t wait to get back out there and play some shows again. When we took a break, we said ‘Until Next Time’ and now feels like that time“.

We can’t wait to be throwing ourselves around the pit to ‘Covered in Chrome’, once again screaming “HELL FUCK YEAH” at the top of our lungs.

The tour announcement follows the 10-year anniversary of acclaimed album ‘WACO’, celebrated with a limited-edition vinyl pressing.

Violent Soho‘s announced dates are:

Sydney, Enmore Theatre, 11 Sep

Melbourne, The Forum, 18 Sep

Brisbane, Fortitude Music Hall, 25 Sep

Joining Violent Soho on all three dates will be Brisbane rock band Beddy Rays, with Teenage Joans opening in Sydney and Secret World in Melbourne.

Fans can get their hands on pre-sale tickets by signing up to the band’s mailing list on Thursday, 23 April, from 10AM AEST (GMT +10), before tickets go on sale from 10AM AEST (GMT +10) on Friday, 24 April. Tickets and tour information via violentsoho.com.
