Cornwall’s An Gof release post-punk gem ‘Nullarbor’ with stunning visuals to match

As a Cornwall based music publication, we are always so stoked to have an opportunity to shout about a band from our humble county. Today, we are here to talk to you about the West Cornwall based An Gof, residing in the wild landscapes of Penzance. Their latest single ‘Nullarbor’ is a post-punk delight that is driven forward by scowling vocals and ferocious guitars.

‘Nullarbor’ opens with a cascading rhythm section that sets a fast pace that is ever growing in momentum as the guitars join in. After a fiery opening, the vocals come through with a deep and scowling presence, cutting through all the instrumentation. As we reach the chorus the energy ramps up to 11 and sees the band bring all the elements into one frightfully energetic conclusion, the hook “Crossing Nullarbor” is guaranteed to be stuck in your head for weeks.

An Gof are yet another shining example of a band based in Cornwall, making music that stands tall next to its big city peers, yet remains unrecognised… for now at least.
