Iโ€™m a music & portrait photographer based in London & am excited to write & shoot for clunk!

We joined London’s Another Day on their UK tour, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, multiple gigs, and a support slot with Pete Doherty

Itโ€™s hard to believe the UK tour for Another Day is already over, it feels like just yesterday we were in Nottingham for opening night. That first night in Nottingham was nothing short of electric, but what really made it special for me wasnโ€™t just the energetic crowd, it was seeing these songs come to life.

Having taken the cover photos for ‘Doghouse Roses‘ back in December I had some idea what this record was going to turn out to be, but seeing their music live was incredible.

I was spending my days taking the behind-the-scenes pictures & portraits, the candid shots in the mornings, and the calm before the storm, silent moments throughout the day while driving from town to town. It was a privilege to be there for all of it, from the laughter during the soundcheck, the quiet moments before the show, and the moments that you only get a glimpse of when the cameras are not there.

Each city was like a new story. Sheffield, Cardiff, Liverpool, London and Brighton, it was one massive blur of light, sound, and adrenaline, with a bonus show in London supporting the incredible Pete Doherty. The excitement of capturing their personalities on my camera is something that shines through. Whether it was someone cracking a joke in the van, or the band in their pre-concert prep, those were just as meaningful as the show itself. And when the audience started cheering for encores, you could see the happiness on their faces.

Trying to capture the intensity of their performance, the backflips, the emotion in the music, and the connection between the band and their fans was an exhilarating challenge. It was all about finding those moments that showcased their true spirit. After all, theyโ€™re not just an up-and-coming band, theyโ€™re a group of incredibly kind, fun, and talented people and Iโ€™m beyond grateful for the chance to document Another Day’s journey.

If you haven’t listened yet, be sure to give ‘Doghouse Roses‘ a listen on Spotify. You can also keep up with the band on Instagram for all the latest news, tunes, and photos. This is only the start of Another Day, and you won’t want to miss what comes next.

See you Another Day,  Aoife x
