Leeds’ L’objectif drop new single ‘Goth Kids’ and sign to Dance To The Radio
Leeds based indie rockers L’objectif take us to the moon on new single ‘Goth Kids’. The release comes hand in hand with a darkly lit, two-act music video, and the announcement that the four-piece have signed to independent label, Dance To The Radio (Ellur, Far Caspian, Terra Twin).
Speaking on the single, the band revealed that ‘Goth Kids’ has been a long time in the making, lyrically bordering on themes of acceptance.
Driven by a gradual build in instrumentation, the song achieves a climactic style through walls of guitar, synth and interchangeable drum work that feels intentional in its delivery. Dynamics really make this song, shifting from subtle accents and synth heavy verses to explosive straight rhythms, guiding the track’s intensity and taking you along with its momentum throughout.
Live, you can expect to catch the band at festivals Live at Leeds in the Park and Kendal Calling this summer, as well as on tour across the UK.
