London-based trio, mary in the junkyard, have launched their debut album campaign in the form of ‘Crash Landing’.

A wonderful ballad that grows into from slow and steady to a powerful entity, ‘Crash Landing’ is a strong taste of what is to come via the group’s debut album, ‘Role Model Hermit’.

A groovy bassline, a deep, dark grungy feel and one of the most unique and striking voices in that London scene make for a seriously enjoyable listen. An undeniably moreish track.

Emerging over the last few years with some big support slots and charming early singles and EPs, their quality shouldn’t shock anyone – yet the winding, spellbinding arrangements and poetic lyrical content of the track is a new high for the band.

One can only imagine how impressive the full length will be, if this is just the first snippet.

mary in the junkyard‘s debut album ‘Role Model Hermit‘ will release 3rd July.
