After three successful releases last year, one of Berkshire’s most promising bands Rila’s Edge have released their first single of 2025, ‘Undone‘
‘Undone,’ the new track from Rila’s Edge, blends elements of alt-rock and pop, layering electric guitars with piercing riffs and fuzzy undertones. ‘Undone‘ touches on low self-esteem when starting a new relationship, and vocalist Alfie Harris perfectly captures these feelings of longing in his delivery.
On the single, guitarist and songwriter Ollie Hedin shares “I kept thinking about how people say ‘you need to love yourself before you can love someone else’. I felt like that statement didn’t ring true for me at the time and I hadn’t ever heard anyone dispute the saying before, so I decided to write about how love and low-self worth interact”.
‘Undone‘ is a promising push into a new musical direction for the band, as they begin to incorporate new technical elements into their music – making any and all future releases highly anticipated.
