Bristol’s Getdown Services announce new EP ‘Primordial Slot Machine’ and drop new single ‘Eat Quiche, Sleep, Repeat’
As one of the UK’s buzziest indie acts, Getdown Services have been relentlessly touring, playing festivals, and dropping bangers. They’ve now announced their new EP ‘Primordial Slot Machine’ will be released on 6th June via Breakfast Records.
The new EP promises to provide 6 tracks full of Getdown Services’ trademark observations on the world, witty hooks and “the perfect balance between humour and pathos”. The first of these, ‘Eat Quiche, Sleep Repeat’ is out now.
On the track, they share: “This song is about accepting there’s a chance our bitterness won’t ever fully go away. Trying to wrap your head round the idea of learning to manage things as opposed to getting rid.“
Alongside the new material is the announcement of a huge UK/EU Tour, including their biggest show to date at London’s Islington Assembly Hall and a hometown gig at Bristol’s Trinity Centre. Dates are below.
