Langkamer have announced a near-eponymous new album ‘Langzamer’ and ahead of it, they have dropped new single ‘Richard E. Grant’

Langkamer, the old school Bristol-based band of boys have been recording intensely almost nonstop for over three years. Inspired by the depth of the countryside, they have made a group focused on simple, guitar-based, indie rock. After three years, they have collaborated with producer Ben Woods (The Golden Dregs) to create a new album ‘Langzamer’.

The band has put an intense amount of effort into a song ultimately about four men chilling in their garage. In fact, at first, one might not be inclined to take these men too seriously. The lyrics describe the joys of family life and simple friendships, but dig a little deeper and they are also a metaphor for mourning and dealing with losses.

All of this sits behind a backing of undemanding and melodic guitar riffs. This track is a calm, relaxing entry into the Langkamer’s world of indie rock.
