Can be found dashing around Bristol photographing gigs, or listening to LCD Soundsystem. There’s no in between.

GANS bring their Connected Tour to Bristol’s The Fleece following the release of their debut album ‘Good for the Soul’

The gig was off to an electric start with album opener ‘A FOOL’ setting the pace for the evening with no sign of slowing down. The band’s ferocious energy formed a circle pit in the centre of the room in no time at all, inevitably enticing vocalist/drummer Euan Woodman into its centre before crowd surfing during ‘THIS PRODUCT DUB’.

Despite the full force of the drums and synth reminiscent of Gary Numan, their lyrics are introspective and poetic, touching on themes of mental health and body image yet never taking themselves too seriously.  The band’s sheer enthusiasm and enjoyment was utterly infectious making it a truly cathartic experience. It’s gigs like these where you can completely lose yourself in the moment and let the adrenaline take over.
