Henry Moodie brought his ‘Good Old Days’ tour to The Roundhouse for a celebration of his new EP and a career-defining performance

Henry Moodie took centre stage at London’s Roundhouse for a standout headline performance, marking one of the celebratory last few shows of his tour and the release of his new EP, ‘Good Old Days’. The Roundhouse was the ideal setting for Henry’s nostalgic and heartfelt songs.

Opening acts James McVey (from The Vamps) and newcomer Ben Ellis set the tone for the evening. McVey brought a touch of familiarity, connecting easily with fans of both The Vamps and Moodie. Meanwhile, Ellis, with his fresh sound, provided an impressive set with original material that hinted at a promising career ahead.

As Moodie took the stage in front of the artwork of eyes behind him, the energy in the room surged. Henry’s performance of ‘Pick Up The Phone’ was a crowd pleaser, with the audience singing along to every word. A highlight of the night was Moodie’s cover of ‘Iris‘ by the Goo Goo Dolls.

The choice of cover, both a 90s classic and a timeless favorite, revealed Moodie’s knack for bridging generations and genres. Henry Moodie’s performance was a pivotal moment in his career, with him quoting that it was the most “most surreal night of my life”.
