Henry Moodie brought his ‘Good Old Days’ tour to The Roundhouse for a celebration of his new EP and a career-defining performance

Henry Moodie took centre stage at London’s Roundhouse for a standout headline performance, marking one of the celebratory last few shows of his tour and the release of his new EP, โ€˜Good Old Daysโ€™. The Roundhouse was the ideal setting for Henryโ€™s nostalgic and heartfelt songs.ย

Opening acts James McVey (from The Vamps) and newcomer Ben Ellis set the tone for the evening. McVey brought a touch of familiarity, connecting easily with fans of both The Vamps and Moodie. Meanwhile, Ellis, with his fresh sound, provided an impressive set with original material that hinted at a promising career ahead.

As Moodie took the stage in front of the artwork of eyes behind him, the energy in the room surged. Henryโ€™s performance of โ€˜Pick Up The Phoneโ€™ was a crowd pleaser, with the audience singing along to every word. A highlight of the night was Moodieโ€™s cover of ‘Iris‘ by the Goo Goo Dolls.

The choice of cover, both a 90s classic and a timeless favorite, revealed Moodieโ€™s knack for bridging generations and genres. Henry Moodieโ€™s performance was a pivotal moment in his career, with him quoting that it was the most โ€œmost surreal night of my lifeโ€.ย
