Wye Oak have announced the news of a mini album ‘Tweens’, a collection ofย eight songs born, raised, and almost abandoned for various reasons during the years between 2011โ€™s breakthrough ‘Civilian’ and 2014โ€™s reinvention-of-sorts, Shriek’.

Jenn Wasner and Andy Stackโ€”the bandโ€™s two halvesโ€”described these songs as โ€œnot emblematic of a step forward, but a step sideways in time.โ€

‘Tweens’ is available now digitally and will have a physical release August 5th.

The video for ‘Watching The Waiting’ is live now, explained by Wasner as, “about learning how to understand and accept who I truly am, and present myself more honestly to the world, without any illusions or pretence. The truth is in the mirror, but it is also much, much deeper.โ€ย
