Sourface the french funk and english indie band from London have released a new single ’21st Century Man’ featuring sounds and lyrics with the nostalgic vibes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
The follow up to their last single ‘Sweet Dreams Suburbia’ greets us with a Blur-esque acoustic guitar, which is then joined by the clear, witty vocals and soft strings. With a potentially melancholic subject matter it’s lifted by the beautiful harmonies and gorgeous chorus-y solo.
The psychedelic inspired lyrics tell you the modern story of a 21st century man whilst sonically taking you straight back to the 60’s in what is truly a great second single from the band.
