Alt-folk duo Memorial announce their second album ‘Redsetter‘ via Real Kind Records alongside releasing new single ‘Circle

Redsetter,’ the new album from Memorial, is set to be released on 10th May. ‘Circle‘, the teaser single, is a tender ode to grief and an almost metaphysical exploration of loss and holding onto reality. The shared vocals in two parts act like chapters, tethered by steady guitar.ย

The pair comment on the track “…despite the pain we feel in bereavement, believing in the cyclical nature of energy provides a comfort that words often can’t. This song is centred around that feeling, being in a state of learning from a presence thatโ€™s not physically there and being able to keep the memory of someone with you to the point where it almost feels tangible without losing your sense of reality.”

If this track is anything to go by, the highly anticipated album will provide an honest warmth with the pair navigating heavy themes through a bittersweet musical texture.
