These releases from BBC Music will cover a range of genres from jazz to hip-hop and grime.

Programming began the other day with Rodney P’s Jazz Funk on BBC Four, looking at the story of Britain’s ‘first home grown black music culture’ and continues next Friday, 31st July, with Gospel According to Mica, a dive into the history of gospel with Mica Paris. Several more documentaries will be airing across the summer including Top of the Pops: The Story of 1990, Ronnie’s: Ronnie Scott & His World Famous Jazz Club and When Bob Marley Came To Britain.
The programming schedule follows the popularity of The Glastonbury Experience streamed across the BBC, which allowed for 11.8 million programme requests of Glastonbury content to be watched on BBC iPlayer.
