Blitz Playhouse shares new single filled with dreamy, transcending sounds and soft vocals

Blitz Playhouse’s new single ‘Favourite Ghost’, is as soothing as it is whimsical. A track filled with echoing, haunting vocals, lethargic beats, and a guitar riff that is soft and melodic, this sound is sure to put you straight in a hazy state of stupor.

A highly underrated London based quartet, Blitz Playhouse’s single explores a certain kind of wild femininity, particularly in their newest single ‘Favourite Ghost’. The sound is something purely expressive and ardent in its most uncaring form, purely an audible feeling, one that echoes in your heart and flows untamed like a river.

If the sound could be visualised, the best comparison would be a cool and trickling moonlight filtered through a thick haze of fog. The vocals are haunting but its softness only puts you at ease, and the entire single sits on a fine line between chaotic and calm. The vocals in and lyrics ‘Favourite Ghost’ are assertive in nature but also carry an air of dismissal, rejecting something blocking a path and continuing on that journey unfazed and free.
