Boardmasters 2024 unveils massive first wave of acts that include headliners Stormzy and Chase & Status
The wait is finally over and Boardmasters 2024 has let slip their first waves of acts for next years installment. Within this first wave we also got news of the first two headliners international rap sensation Stormzy and trailblazing drum & bass duo Chase & Status. In addition to this there are also 30 more acts announced that include rising indie outfit English Teacher, punk rock duo Soft Play, and MANY more.
Boardmasters 2024 takes place between August 7th-11th and continues to be THE festival of the summer. Attendees can expect a week of sun, surf, music, and eternally good vibes. All happening with the backdrop of Watergate Bay and Cornwall’s wild coastline.
On the back of this announcement is the final call to sign up for the Boardmasters’ presale, which gives fans an exclusive 24h access on tickets. Sign-ips close at midnight on Wednesday 29th November and presale tickets available from 10am on Thursday 30th November. Tickets will be on general sale Friday 1st December from 10am.
Full First Wave Of Acts
On top of all these musical delights festival-goers can also expect to witness the cream of international surfing battle it out at Fistral Beach at the Boardmasters Open, which has been running since 1981. Competitions include the Boardmasters OPEN men’s and women’s division and the Boardmasters Longboard OPEN men’s and women’s division. Plus festival goers can also witness the new generation of groms showcasing their talent in the Boardmasters Junior OPEN boys and girls division – more info will be dropped early next year.
Surfing isn’t just for the pro’s though, you too can get involved with a variety of surf based activities all hosted out Newquay Activity Centre. Have your go at surfing with a surf lesson, or explore the Newquay coastline with a SUP experience, there’s so much on offer and all of it layered in aquatic fun. If lessons aren’t to your fancy then hire equipment is also available for you to use to conquer the atlantic ocean with.
Unbelievably there is more for you to do during your Boardies experience such as Daily Beach Cleans, Pub Quizzes, Surf Screenings, Bingo, Karaoke, Family Fun, the fabulous Cornwall Rock Choir belting out singalong classics (and conga lines are firmly encouraged) and even more still to be revealed.
It’s safe to say that Boardmasters 2024 is shaping up to be the most epic week of the summer so don’t miss out and grab your tickets ASAP.
