Legendary electronic duo Boards Of Canada have announced their new album ‘Inferno’ will drop on 29th May

Scottish electronic duo Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin, also known as Boards Of Canada, have today announced news of their long-awaited sixth album ‘Inferno’. The album will be released via Warp Records on 29th May 2026.

‘Inferno’ is the duo’s first project since 2013, 13 years since their last album ‘Tomorrow’s Harvest.’ Ever elusive, Boards Of Canada began to tease the project earlier this month, with VHS tapes mailed to fans, featuring cryptic imagery and messages. On 16th April, they posted the ambient recording ‘Tape 05’ to their official YouTube channel.

‘Inferno’ will feature 18 new tracks and is available to pre-order/pre-save here.
