The British Music Embassy, UK’s official SXSW residency, revealed the set times for 12 showcase events during SXSW in Austin, Texas
The showcases kickoff on Saturday, March 9th and conclude Saturday March 15th featuring over 60 acts across 12 days, with 8 night shows and 4 afternoon shows. The performances will be held at a brand new, two-stage outdoor venue, The Backyard at Downright Austin, with day shows being open to the general public.
Showcases at this event will be hosted by ATC-Live, BBC Introducing, CLASH Magazine, Fierce Panda Records, Licks Magazine, Output Belfast, Propaganda, and Xtra Mile Recordings. Accompanying the set time announcement was an addition to the schedule, MC and producer Skepta, who will be at the BME stage on Sunday March 10th.
Highlighting a variety of genres and diverse artists from all over the UK, the British Music Embassy showcase will feature artists such as Äyanna, Ash, Victoria Canal, Chalk, Rachel Chinouriri, Coach Party, Dry Cleaning, Cosmo Pyke, Divorce, Do Nothing, Fat Dog, Jeshi, The Lottery Winners, Porij, Sanity, and many more.
