Singer/Songwriter Lucy Dacus releases fourth new single, ‘Talk’, ahead of her upcoming album ‘Forever Is A Feeling

Lucy Dacus, known for her extensive solo career as well as her involvement with indie rock supergroup boygenius, has released her latest single in the run up to her new studio album.

A very cohesive addition to Dacus’ discography, Talk is a melancholic and yet powerful assertion of self-worth and reflection of relationships with others. Speaking philosophically about uncertainty and unpredictability in relationships, the track is a beautiful representation of feeling things slip out of reach.

It feels almost like a portrayal of the present becoming the past, and cleverly depicts the observation of losing something that is right in front of you.

All of this beautiful lyricism, is, of course, paired with Dacus’ quintessential instrumentation: a Cranberries-esque crescendo of reverb-heavy guitar and bass that rouses your emotions as you listen.

New album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’ is out on 28th March via Geffen Records.
